About Dr. Khan
Shaukat A. Khan, M.D. graduated from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He served an internship at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio and his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed fellowships in gastroenterology at the Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
For over 30 years, Dr. Khan has been affiliated with Spectrum Health, and St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has served as Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Butterworth Hospital. Dr. Khan has been a research fellow at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and he is also currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
